RH Gallery and Alexander Berardi offer an art alternative to FNO
The Art Dossier on September 6, 2012 with 0 CommentsSick of hearing about Fashion’s Night Out and it hasn’t even started yet? RH Gallery and House of Berardi are joining forces to bring you something a little more artful. Tonight RH Gallery has curated an art Carnival for the fashion weary.
Alexander’s flagship shop in NYC on Prince St. will play host to artists Rebecca Burstein, Maria Kozak and Tracey Langfitt. Rebecca and Maria will be paying homage to Jack and Miss Cooper, the store’s pet bunnies who make their home in the window of Berardi’s SoHo boutique while Athena Ahe will be on hand painting faces as artist Tracey Langfitt makes custom spin art t-shirts from 7:30 – 8:30. The artists will all have new oil paintings on display in the store as well.
Alexander Berardi was the youngest designer to show at Lincoln Center and has since made quite a name for himself. The store will have a pop up garden out front where guests can chill out under the stars while admiring their new t-shirts and snacking on ice cream from a truck.
The event goes from 7-10pm and the exhibition is on view through October 6th.
