The Independent Curators International (ICI), heads to Beijing, China for their first 2012 Summer Curatorial Intensive, a training program that provides curators an opportunity to meet with other leaders in the field and to share new exhibition ideas.

In collaboration with Ullens Center for Contemporary Art and China Central Academy of Fine Arts, the 7-day intensive program will “explore the historical precedents, new models, and emergent curatorial practices that are influencing the infrastructures for art through an intensive schedule of seminars, site visits, individual meetings, and roundtable discussions.”
